Traffic rollover

Traffic rollover is unused allowance carrying into the next billing period. Proxy Compare prices 545 plans across 33 providers, read 5 Oct 2026, and none publishes rollover consistently enough to record as a field. Allowance usually expires monthly, and where it does not, that lives in the terms.

Why it costs you money

An expired gigabyte costs the full rate and delivers nothing. Use sixty percent of an allowance and your real cost per usable gigabyte is two thirds higher than the rate you agreed, which can be worse than a dearer plan you would have finished. Of eight pricing pages we read on 15 August 2026, two stated a rollover policy in writing and six said nothing at all. IPRoyal advertises traffic that never expires; NodeMaven lists traffic rollover as a plan feature. Not stated is not the same as expires, and several of the other six may roll traffic over without advertising it. What it means is that you cannot tell from the page you are buying on, so ask before you commit.

Questions

Does unused allowance carry into next month?

Normally not. It expires at the end of the billing period, and none of the 42 providers here publishes rollover consistently enough to record it as a field, read 5 Oct 2026.

Where would it be written if a provider offered it?

In the terms rather than on the pricing page. That is where this answer usually sits, which is why it is worth reading before signing up to a commitment sized for a busy month.

How do I stop paying for what I never use?

Buy smaller and more often. 17 of the 545 plans priced here carry no monthly commitment, read 5 Oct 2026, and they cost more per gigabyte precisely because nothing is wasted.
