About
The problem this exists for
Buying proxies means comparing prices that were designed not to be compared, per gigabyte here, per IP there, “unlimited” somewhere else, with the sign-up rules and payment methods buried in support docs.
What it actually does
This site does the tedious part: it reads every provider's own pricing pages and shows the dated quotes with their purchase conditions. Where the unit permits it, you can compare the cost per gigabyte. Recorded changes appear in the change log.
Where to check our workings
The method is public on How we check, and the business model is public on How this site pays for itself. If you find a number that's wrong, tell us and watch it get fixed in the open.
Comparing prices with a browser agent
A browser agent can use the same provider directory, proxy cost calculator, scraping API list and CAPTCHA rate cards that you use. Tools apply the requested filters and show the result on the page. Access is free, with no account required.
The browser tool catalog lists the available inputs and examples. WebMCP browser support is experimental; open this site in a supported browser to use it. The provider index and site directory can also be read directly.
Use find_providers to identify a provider, then get_provider_details for its plans and sources. Use the cost calculators when you know your monthly volume. For adjacent tools, search_site finds published setup guides and read_site_guide reads their sections. Keep each quote's date, unit and conditions; a guide's historical price may differ from the current provider record.
Getting in touch
Email contact@proxy-compare.com. A correction to a specific number gets there faster through Report a mistake, which says what to send so we can check it against the provider's own page.
