Sub-user
An additional credential under your account with its own username and password, and usually its own usage counter and limits.
Why it costs you money
It is how you find out which project burned the bandwidth. Providers differ on how many they allow and whether limits can be set per sub-user, and an agency billing clients separately needs both. Free on some plans, a paid tier on others.
